Hello Lake Whitney Families,
We've already wrapped up our fourth week of school and are settling into a wonderful routine. Thank you for your continued support in following our arrival and dismissal procedures, which helps ensure the safety of all our students. We're also excited to announce that we'll be installing new blinds on our classroom windows, which will further enhance student safety.
You may have heard your child talking about our school's House System! Our culture and climate focus this year is built around the acronym REACH:
-
Respect
-
Effort
-
Attitude
-
Cooperation
-
Honesty
We discuss these values every morning during our announcements, and they're posted in every classroom. We'll be kicking off our house points system soon, so stay tuned for more details!
I also have some very exciting news to share. Please join me in congratulating our Teacher of the Year, Nancy Dudek, and our Support Person of the Year, Justin Daugherty. Both of these individuals are incredibly deserving of this recognition, and we're so proud to have them represent Lake Whitney this school year.
Thank you again for a smooth start to the year. Your patience on rainy days and your help in getting our students reacclimated to school are truly appreciated. We're off to a fantastic start, and it's all thanks to you.
Educationally yours,
Dr. Crabb
