Dear Lake Whitney Families,
It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the principal of Lake Whitney Elementary School. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than 30 years. I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida and received a Master's Degree, an Educational Specialist Degree and a Doctorate of Education from National Louis University. I am eager to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.
I was fortunate to be one of the teachers that opened Lake Whitney Elementary in 1997. All three of my children attended Lake Whitney from the time it opened until they graduated from fifth grade.
As a part of the Dolphin community, I look forward to meeting you in the near future. I can assure you that I will work hard to continue the legacy of success here at the Lake.
This year is going to be a year of opportunity as we continue to provide academic experiences and acceleration for our students. These experiences will be rigorous, relevant, and will help them build relationships while making real-world connections. As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors – students, parents, staff and community members - feel welcome and valued.
I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student at Lake Whitney Elementary exceed their goals and have a successful school year!

Lake Whitney is using REMIND to provide just-in-time communications, as well as reminders about school events. REMIND is an app that facilitates group communications. If you want the latest updates, including 30/30 notifications, please join our school group by texting your student's grade level code listed below. For families with multiple students in different grade levels, you'll need to text each code separately. If you already have the app, choose +JOIN A CLASS and put in the code. If you do not have the app, text your code to the number 81010, you will receive a welcome text from REMIND. If you have trouble with 81010, then try texting the code to 407-792-2676. Class codes are below.
