SAC

Our School Advisory Council (SAC) is responsible for:

  • Assisting in the assessment of needs, as well as establishing priorities, defining goals, and evaluating the effectiveness of our school improvement plan.
  • Monitoring the progress and implementation of our 2016-2017 school improvement plan.
  • Developing a school improvement plan for 2017-2018.
  • Increasing the communication between parents, school, and community.

The members on our council represent a cross-section of the ethnic, racial and economic community served by our school. Parents of our school community elect members of our School Advisory Council each fall. Our School Advisory Council meets once a month about an hour. Participation of all council members at each meeting is vital.

SAC meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 3:30pm - 4:30pm in the Media Center. Business is conducted by our council members but all are welcome to attend.
